Guard - Texas University - 1960 Olympics - Cincinnati Royals, NBA 1963-64 thru 1965

A team leader in college at Texas, Jay Arnette was a quick-dribbler and standout passer and played on the gold medal winning 1960 USA Olympic Basketball Team. Noteable NBA stars on the 1960 Olympics squad included Jerry West, Oscar Robertson, Walt Bellamy, Terry Dischinger and Jerry Lucas.

Jay Arnette was the first player selected in the 2nd round of the 1960 NBA draft (by the Cincinnati Royals).  

Jay Arnette played in the National Basketball Associatio, NBA, for 2 full seasons, 1963-64 and 1964-65 and 3 games in the 1965-66 season.
