A tough basketball player, Charlie Criss, 5-ft, 8 inch, 165-pounds, made his hustle work in a positive way and was a big part of Atlanta's head coach Hubie Brown's youth movement after television mogul Ted Turner bought the Atlanta Hawks in 1977.
