Basketball Historian Biography

A 6 ft 6, 215 pound forward, Ron Grandison had his days of on-court glory playing first with the College of New Orleans in the late 1980s and then in the NBA with six different teams in 4 seasons. His best season scoring-wise was his rookie year, 1989-90, with the Boston Celtics. He played 528 minutes total in 72 of the Celtics’ 82 games, made 59 of 142 field goals attempts, a 2.5 points per game average, hit on 59 of 80 free throws, a .728 percentage.

 

Ron Grandison played in 2 postseason playoff games with the NY Knicks in 1996.
