Basketball Historian Biography

Steve Hamilton was a standout basketball player at Morehead State and helped the team reached the NCAA tournament in back-to-back years, 1956 and 1957. He then played two seasons in the NBA with the Minneapolis Lakers, while also pitching in the Cleveland minor league farm system.

Using an aresnal of a 95 mph fastball Steve Hamilton pitched mainly as a reliever in the majors from 1961 thru 1972
