Basketball Historian Biography

A standout basketball player with Utah University, Jeff Judkins was chosen for the 1967 College East-West All-Star team. In that game, he scored 4 points on two FG and collected 5 rebounds.

He was drafted in the 2nd round, 8th pick, by the Boston Celtics in the 1978 NBA draft. As a rookie Jeff Judkins scored a career-high 8.8 points per game 2.4 rpg and 1.8 assists pg. In 1979-80 he played in seven Celtics' playoff games and scored 9 total points. Traded to the Utah Jazz in '80-'81.
