In his third NBA season, 1970-71, Stu Lantz, a hustling, playmaking guard put up career-high stats with 20.6 points per game, 5.0 rebounds per/g, and 4.2 assists per. In 82 games that season, the 6-ft 3 inch, 175 Lantz scored 1689 points, on 585 FGM, 1305 FGA, a .448 percentage. And, after the season moved with the team from San Diego to Houston.
Stu Lantz played in two NBA playoffs, with San Diego in 1968-69, 13.5 ppg in 6 games; and with Detroit in 1973-74, 12.0 ppg in 7 games. |
