A quick moving 6 ft 7, 205 pound forward, Xavier McDaniel rose to the occasion almost immediately and fit right in with playmaking guard Dale Ellis and 7 ft center Alton Lister to led the Seattle SuperSonics to the 1986-87 playoffs.
