Pete Myers was a star guard with the Arkansas Little Rock University basketball team before being selected by the Chicago Bulls in 1986. Traded to San Antonio the next year, he played for 5 different NBA teams until the end of the 1991 season, then played in other professional basketball leagues.
Nicknamed Skeeter Hawk, Pete Myers signed with the Bulls again in 1993 and had his best-ever NBA season. He scored 650 points in 2,030 minutes and started 81 of 82 games. He made 253 of 556 field goals, a .455 percentage, 7.9 per game, and sunk 136 of 194 free throws, and posted 3 assists per game. |
