Basketball Historian Biography

Born in the country of Slovakia, Bostjan Nachbar played his first 2 ½ years in the NBA with the Houston Rockets, starting in 2002-03. He got a chance to play regularly after being traded to the New Orleans Hornets early in the 2004 season, and the 6 ft 9 forward averaged 8.9 points per game that season.

On April 5 2007 playing with the New Jersey Nets, Bost Nachbar scored 26 points to helped the team defeat Atlanta 101-86. He made 9 of 14 field goals and 1 of 3 free throws.
