by Big Ten coaches All-Big Ten First Team

Mike Conley of Ohio State made the media first team All

Big Ten, replacing Carl Landry, who made their 2^nd team .

2007 Alando Tucker 6 ft 6 inch senior forward from Wisconsin

Alando Tucker, forward for Wisconsin University, was chosen The Big Ten Conference

Player of the Year for 2006-2007. He also was selected a unanimous first team All Big Ten.

Ohio State power freshmen Greg Oden was the runner-up choice of coaches for the MVP Award.

As a freshman from Illinois Lockport High School, Alando Tucker averaged 12 points per game

and 5.9 while starting the last 27 games of that season. His second season was lost thru a foot injury

and he got a medical redshirt. He was picked as a third team Big Ten All-Star the next year.

Alando Tucker gain first team Big 10 honors in 2005-2006 And also this season, 2006-2007.

Ranked #3 in the NCAA Polls this season, Wisconsin Badgers coach Bo Ryan said, ‘It is nice

to see that his hard work has culminated in such a prestigious individual honor.’

Alando Tucker starts next week’s Big Ten tournament number two on the list of all-time

Wisconsin highest scorer with 2,125, trailing Michael Finley, 2,147 points. Alando Tucker finished

second in the Big Ten this season in scoring with 19.7 points per game.
