The fans of our nation gave a cheering vote of confidence
to the four teams left in the 2003 NCAA tourney. Playing
in packed stadiums and viewed by millions on television,
Kansas, Marquette, Syracuse and Texas have been caught
up in March Madness fever.
While the outcome of the 2003 college champion is still
to be decided we @basketballhistorian.com are looking
ahead to some of the most memorable games in the
NCAA's long tournament history.

The Valparaiso Crusaders are one of only two original college
basketball teams of the Mid-Continent Conference since its
inception as the AMCU in 1982-83 season, the other being
Western Illinois U.
The team has released a news notice stating it is in the last
year in the Mid-Con Conference, 2006-07.
Valparaiso is located in the state of Indiana.
Valpo has been the most successful of the teams in the
conference, winning at least 8 games in every one of the 13
years since. And, the Crusaders won at least 10 games in 12
different seasons.
The Valparaiso men’s basketball team has nine regular season
Mid Con Championships in 13 years, and won an impressive
eight Mid-Con Tournament Championships.
